Harry Nilsson

Harry Edward Nilsson was born on June 15, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York.

In 1968, Nilsson recorded Fred Neil's song "Everybody's Talkin'." Nilsson's version was released on his album Aerial Ballet. A year later the song was used in the film Midnight Cowboy and became a hit - earning Nilsson his first Grammy.

Nilsson won his second Grammy in 1972 for his recording of "Without You." The song, first recorded by the group Badfinger, became a world-wide hit.

Nilsson died of a heart attack in January of 1994.
